So a company that sells electrical equipment is going to promote the fact that everyone should have electricity.

Hard to believe.

Send John Kerry to the rescue. I’m pretty certain he’d argue that the US must help get this solar farm back up and running pronto or none of us will be able to breathe in the next six months. So, here’s a $20 million dollar gift from the US to get the ball rolling.

What a stupid arse idea.
you fail to understand the real purpose. if you had been the one to profit off it, you wouldn't think it's such a stupid idea.

You know stuff like green energy would benefit Louisiana. Many plants between BR and Nola are looking to do carbon capture and sequestration. That will only add new jobs on top of the plants themselves already. Louisiana has the best geology in the world in the Miocene formation for CO2 injection. It has Darcy permeability and 40% porosity. The highest porosity possible in rocks is 45% based on a perfect sphere sitting directly on top of another perfect sphere matrix. It's silt basically.

Stuff like Hydrogen, Sustainable Aviation Fuel, all of that is going to be heavily in Louisiana. The largest ports are in South Louisiana which is another reason they would go there for export. Nat gas is abundant in Louisiana which is the base for clean Hydrogen and Ammonia.

Going green is actually economically very beneficial to job creation in Louisiana. Wind and solar isn't really Louisiana's shtick, but nat gas, oil, and carbon injection based projects will benefit Louisiana. Wind and solar has been around for decades. Stuff like Hydrogen, Sustainable Aviation Fuel, and Carbon injection isn't quite here and coming up in a few years.

I finance a lot of solar, so I could make money off of it. I still think it’s a terrible idea and I most likely wouldn’t let it clear diligence if someone brought me something like this.

In a body of water where monsoons are a yearly occurrence and there's nothing to deflect hurricane-like storms.

Climate Change has led to more severe storms

That's what the MSM says, not what the actual data says.

The computer sims indicate that virtually all of the warming will take place toward the poles and little to none toward the equator. That is a formula for milder weather, not more severe storms.

This is confirmed by any look at recorded history. The warm eras were marked by mild weather and fewer storms. The Medieval Warming and the Roman Warming were noted for mild weather. Conversely, the Little Ice Age was marked by many violent storms.

It is also confirmed in the geological record.

The violence of the weather systems are based on the contrast between hot and cold. Less contrast equals less energy and fewer severe storms as a result.
