Looks like the wood duck flight is done this morning. I managed to get a pair but seen at least 2 dozen zipping in and out of the trees in this swamp. Seen a few acorns floating around since the water came up, and the woodies seen them too. I’ll sit here until 8 then head to the truck and go make a gravy with the pair. Good luck on the rest of today to all out there.

I’ve made 10 hunts this year and have yet to see a deer. I’m not giving up, but a few of these days are about to be fishing trips.
