He's just part of the coming wave of candidates that will have one job. Take shots at Trump so Desantis doesn't have to.
The establishment is trying to thread an impossible needle because they know they can't win a general without MAGA.
Asa and everyone else will withdraw and endorse Desantis when told to.
He is merely a Desantis surrogate.
He's not dumb. He knows he can't be the nominee. He has no constituency, no money.
But if he's criticizing Trump, he can get on TV and plant these seeds of doubt like Trump should withdraw.
