Ethics Board crackdown

The Louisiana ethics board has come down on Louisiana coaches who use school facilities to host camps and then pocket the money for themselves. You cannot use public property for private gain. This has been done for over 25 years in some places. I never thought that the board would come down on this. If you think about this that is right and all of these teachers ,coaches , and principals have to take an ethics class at the start of each year. Also new Gov. who was an the Attorney General knows the law inside and out. He may actually be trying to clean out the Good Ole Boy System.

I’m reading this as, “The state isn’t getting their cut from these events on “their” property, therefore we need to put a stop to this, unless we see some cash.”
Doesn’t sound like they’re trying to cut out the good ole boy system to me.

Who cares if a basketball coach who barely makes a living uses the gym when not being used. So what. Geez..

Yep. And most schools look at it as a supplement to the coach’s income.
All this is going to do is push for some stupid rental in the amount of $1.
