Heard on the radio that Putin had sent his proposal to NATO, regarding his troop movement

Wants NATO to abide by 1997 agreement, remove weapons and troops from various countries, agree to not let Ukraine join NATO.
Our govt responded that Ukraine is a sovereign country and we could not tell them what to do. Didnt we tell them to fire their AG at one point, asking for a friend.
Putin invades, takes half of Ukraine, controls their gas pipelines and EU will not be able to get gas from Russia or the Ukraine and freezing their nads off til the EU agrees to let him keep half of Ukraine. Six months later he takes the rest of Ukraine.
EU totally unprepared to do anything militarily and begs the US to help.
Boy this is sure starting to look like WW2.

What is NATO going to do when they get gas from Russia? We should cut our loses on NATO. They are utterly uselss.

We extorted them to remove Shokin. NATO been done broke the agreement a few times over by back building up forces where they weren't supposed to, Ukraine was just the most recent during the Obomber & Big Guy administration.

I believe they will take eastern Ukraine if NATO membership looks likely.
I don’t think they would want Western Ukraine. Those provinces, especially the old Polish ones, hate Russia.

Russia is in Syria to prevent gas pipelines from Qatar and Saudi from going to EU. RUSSIA is forcing former Central Asian Republics to sell their gas to Gazprom for transit to EU. NORD stream sole intent is to sell gas to EU while bypassing Ukraine, Poland, etc
