Why isn't he being labeled as the front runner for President in 2024 like DeSantis who only won by 20%?

Because they want to fracture the Republican Party with a MAGA and Desantis fight.

It ensures a dem win in 24.

DeWine went all in on Covid science and was one of the most authoritarian Republican Govs. He is very centrist, thank God our State House is not. He has actually vetoed several conservative bills. A couple were actually overrides by 2/3 vote of the state house.

A lot of this.

And Trump didnt' spend anything on his candidates, and spent more time bashing the republicans than he did promoting them.

Trump had a hand in this performance like it or not.

I'd vote for Trump tomorrow but there is a lot of the country turned off by his antics, and without their votes Democrats will rule the world for a long time.

He's got to do a better job of closing with those moderates and suburban white women who have been convinced he's satan incarnate.
