I don't think it takes an expert to note the obvious. If you have another theory about a video that's designed to appeal to 20-somethings and has a recruiting link at the end, feel free to share. Maybe there's some merit to your theory.

Yes, recruiting is down. Yes, the TV-facing generals and leadership appear to be taking the US Military down an untenable path of woke ideology.
That said, a slick 3 minute video from the 4th PsyOps division is not going to overcome that eroded perception of the current state of the USAF and turn around confidence in our Military. Not for recruitment purposes.
This would lead me to believe there are other motives at play, and the very reason we talk these things out amongst ourselves.

That's how the military has recruited for decades. A Marine slaying a dragon isn't some hidden message that dragons exist, it was designed to appeal to the demographic they're after.

At the most basic level, I believe it is a move to bring awareness to the general public that something as complex as Psychological Operation unit in the military exists, in the first place.
The next would be to foster the question - If we have PsyOps units in our own military, who else does, and more importantly, what are they doing?

Every nation-state worth worrying about and more than a few that aren't worth worrying about. They may be civilian or military, but none of this is new or secretive. We can't even keep the units we WANT to keep secret a secret, and they damn sure aren't popping out YouTube videos inviting people to join them.
