I think it's just because Bud Light sort of stole the scene. A lot of people aren't even aware of Jack Daniels' role.
There are plenty of great beers and lots of great whiskeys and bourbons out there.
This should be a very easy change to stop buying Bud Light and Jack Daniels should you be so inclined to do so.
