We are going to Vegas in October for the When We Were Young Festival and are planning to do Encore Beach Club on Saturday.

For those who have been....

--How was it?
--Are there chairs/loungers available without having to pay $500 per person?
--Is there a long line to get in?
--What time does the pool get crowded?

Any other tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

In Vegas, you pretty much have to have a table booked in advance at any day club or nightclub to get anything done & if you have single person tickets you are at the back of the many different lines & they let you in at their convenience. Money & connections are the only thing that matters there.

1) How old are you?

2) What kind of shape are you in?

3) Just how rich are you?

That’s owned by Wynn so it’s basically the same thing. You’re in for a real treat. Wynn is easily one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever seen out of every place I’ve vacationed to

I’ve been to Vegas a ton and have never done any of that. The prices for that type of shite are ridiculous imo and I am pretty well off.

In all honesty, what makes Vegas so great is that budget travelers still have affordable options on the Strip and aren’t limited to extremely high end 5 star resorts. Compare that to a place like Miami where every hotel on the beach that’s worth a shite is overpriced

Definitely stretching the budget but in my 47 years on this planet, I’ve only been to Vegas a couple of times, so whenever we do go, we try and live it up nicely

You’ll be in the wrong place then

I’m headed to Vegas from June 9 to 13, round trip on Allegiant from XNA is $264 with a carryon, Caesar’s offered me 4 nights at the Flamingo for $234 including resort fees. You can’t travel anywhere else in the country for that. I spent more to drive to the Hard Rock in Tulsa. Even being gouged on necessities when you’re there, it’s absurdly cheap from Sunday to Thursday. Gonna play in some WSOP dailies next door at Horseshoe/Paris.

Just because I'm not rich doesn't mean I didn't save a ton of cash for this trip.

I am pretty fiscally responsible when it comes to budgeting.

oh i get it nobody likes to have a good time more than me.... its just those vegas style beach clubs just seem so cheesy to me. cheesedick hardlegs 10 to 1, overpriced drinks, overpriced everything, and some shitty dj playing crap music and everyone acting like it is the best thing ever waving their hands in the air.

While getting ridiculously sunburned because they're too drunk to remember to put on sunscreen. If you like yelling, getting drunk, and listening to loud music, it's for you.

I'm sure my 18-20 year old self would have loved it! (Yes, I know that's underage, but it wasn't when I was 18.) By 21-22, I was over that crowd.

The crowd depends on who is playing. If it’s Marshmellow or someone like that it’ll get real crowded. If you don’t have a section you’re basically relegated to walking around or hanging out in a crowded pool. Like anything it gets crowded as the day goes on. The lines aren’t long per se but they check everyone thoroughly for contraband.

I mean it’s not my “scene” but I’ve been a few times and it’s fun. It’s not like you don’t know what you’re getting into. It’s hot as hell, expensive, crowded. Good people watching though

I will never understand the concept of “people watching” especially on vacation. Other random people don’t interest me in the least

We ended up booking a "day bed" near the water, no F way I am getting in the pool if it looks like that... haha

We are pretty big EDM fans (not ravers or drug users), so looking forward to the music.
