It's just like Destin and the area. Crystal clear... as long as there's no junegrass or sargassum.

Same here. We eat there every year while on our annual beach trip with family.

I don't recall if reservations are required, but it's a good idea, as the place is very popular.

If you enjoy more peace and quiet, definitely just keep driving past Destin and land here.

Skunk Gulley's was really good last time we went. Live music under the tent. Good cocktails too.

Red Bar in Grayton has live music, and good crab cakes.

Cafe Thirty A is good, but a bit upscale, just depends on what you're looking for.

Rent bikes and ride around, there is a bike path that connects all of the towns. Pop into a book store, grab a drink at a bar/restaurant, just hang out on the beach.

Hit Seaside. Grab some Royal Reds from the shrimp shack and have a cold beverage.

Just got back from there this afternoon.

The water was great. Surf was medium. The seaweed was starting to come in but it wasn't bad yet. Sand was as white as ever.

We went out to eat at the Old Florida Fish House Saturday night. Very good food, but you will pay a pretty penny. Get reservations.
