Exchange guarantees the counter party risk. I saw it mentioned on here the market makers do this. I don’t believe this is accurate. I could be wrong, and I’m willing to learn if I’m wrong. eta. I posted exchange, it’s probably OCC. ...

Tariffs aren’t tax like when they even the playing field. Quite the opposite. The Trump pass through tax provisions worked. We now have had some time to let these debates in 2016 ferment into facts, which most people knew anyway. Something funny in the water in Ohio. Passive aggressive. ...

SFP slips in enough generalities that are accurate, and also some things that can't be argued, so he gets away with it. He does intermix a lot of garbage in between all of that however. This said my business and tax attorney is my friend. He bills probably over $900K and takes home $750K. He was...
[quote]And it’s not like Costello is someone who doesn’t know law. He is a former AUSA and a partner in a well known firm. Not a hack like Cohen. Mind you that doesn’t make him near the level of the usual suspects on here if you were to ask them… but a fairly knowledgeable person to know bullshite...
Interactive Brokers is the most sophisticated platform retail traders can get. I don't really trade, but when I sell a large position I like that I can route it to dark pools so I don't impact my trade price. At some point it would be nice if we could get legal access to contracts for differ...

It does look like you can buy BTFX at a premium discount, but that's largely meaningless due to their redemption policies. This said, for a day trader you could potentially arbitrage due to this. It would be difficult, and I don't think hugely profitable. ...

BTFX owns futures, so would be subject to continual rolling of forward contracts. Forward contracts might not be correct, I'd need to think through that, as well as contango and backwardation. I didn't take the time to find out if it is a rust, note or what exactly it is. It's leveraged, so s...

As far as I can find out FBTC is a trust that tracks an index. But it does hold BTC. 4868.9895 BTC. Looking briefly it looks like they own stock in exchanges as well, and possibly, not sure, indirectly hold BTC this way. It's leveraged, so by definition it's subject to decay. It's not a note, so no ...

Time decay and if they hold futures, and bunch of other concerns. In order for the trade to work it almost always needs to be short term. Levered products are for short term trades. Products that track price by holding futures, or possibly even an index, need to have those futures constantly rolled ...

I get it. I had $25K calls on BTC and that settled physical BTC. I settled the ETH in cash, and sold the physical ETH. I haven't really looked into BTC stocks, or miners. I should as some of them have a lot of physical BTC on their books. ...
