Yea Teurlings moved up to 3A in 1999-2000. 99 team was senior laden, the 00 team was far different from the 99 version but still very good. Like another person said they lost in finals to ED White 3-2 in extras.
TCH didn’t have anyone like Zeringue.

Not at the level of this recent catholic team and some barbe teams.
But at a small school level 1999 Teurlings Catholic deserves a mention.
2A champs that went 29-2 and outscored the opposition 350ish to around 60.
Heck in the playoffs they outscored teams 75-3.
They probably win 5A that year.

I had access to test banks for most of my classes at LSU.
They were only beneficial for the classes where the test bank wasn’t huge.
I learned quickly it was just easier to study for an exam than try to memorize test banks that had 100 questions a chapter and your exam was covering 6-8 chapters l...

I was pick 1.06 and took Rome. I desperately needed a qb and almost went JJ lol at 6. Glad I came back to my senses.
JJ was stil available at 2.02 and I took him.
Also got MarShawn Lloyd at 2.07 and Javon Baker at 3.06.
All in all pleased.

The people saying South Dakota or Wyoming are crazy.
SD has the badlands, and the Black Hills which contains Mount Rushmore.
Those 2 areas are very famous and well visited.
Yea like the poster above me, Wyoming has Yellowstone and grand Teton national parks along with Jackson Hole.

If you really want a qb I’d trade back to 1.6 and then target wr at 2.01.
But staying put and taking Nabers is the smart decision.
FTR I’m drafting 1.06 in my super flex rookie draft and am targeting JJ. I assume one of time or bowers will also be available but I’m desperate at qb....

Malik is far and away the best talent available at 1.4 but you have 2 old QBs and another who is often hurt.
If you feel JJ would still be available at 6, take the trade.
But the other guy made a good point about taking Rome at 6 if JJ is gone ...

I’m not as high on worthy bc kelce is still the guy and Hollywood is pretty good.

Worthy was very inconsistent in college.
McConkey has no proven WRs in front of him and Herbert is great in his own right.

I’d go JJ just bc he’s in the much better situation. A good offensive coach and great weapons.
Maye is in a bad situation and it’ll take awhile for him to get good if ever.
In all JJ seems like the much safer pick and will be fantasy startable....

My dad and I had access to a 6.5 acre pond that were the only ones to fish.
My dad drew the plans on how it was dug and we put structure in it like crazy.
It was stocked with both bass and sacalait.
That pond kicked butt for 10 years from 1998-2008 with big bass and sacalait being caught.

Not to hijack this thread about STM baseball but I saw STM is finally playing Division 1 for all sports including football.
They have always been a great athletic program but the split plus playing in division 2 allowed them to accumulate a bunch of titles in basketball and football.

Anybody have luck at the ponds at the Burbank soccer complex?
I’m sure it’s pretty heavily pressured.
The little pond at the kenilworth park has a few but I’ve never caught more than 2 bass and was usually skunked.
The creek that runs through there definitely has some panfish. I’ve never fish...

Yea that pond and woods by the cottages were absolutely loaded with wildlife besides fish.
I never saw deer but tracks were absolutely everywhere. Unfortunately would see dead deer on Burbank and Nicholson.
My god the amount of wood ducks made me envious as a duck hunter.

I used to live off Ben Hur at what was called the cottages. The pond over there was loaded with bass and sac a lait.

Kansas’s 22 title certainly helps them bc it gave them 4 but I’ve always looked at them kind of like Michigan football.
