re: OT’ers with Generac’s

Ran the same unit for 11 days after Ida. Oil and filter change 5 days in, as I had performed maintenance before the storm. Then changed oil, filter & air filter at the end of the event.
Long story short, I only shut it down once for maintenance. And I ran the house as normal. Generators of all t...
re: Cancellation of Mid-Barataria Diversion project could cost Louisiana at least $700 million

Should have just used this money to build ring levees around the population centers of Plaquemines Parish - of which there are few left - and just removed the levees in the remaining areas. Elevated Hwy 23 over these areas, and allowed the river to begin doing what it had done for millennia, without...

The death of college football. Isn’t the whole reason to follow the team because they share your love for the university? Perhaps they’re from Louisiana, or felt strongly enough about your school’s program to change alliances. They play on the school’s football team. You have a connection with them,...
I know alot of native New Orleanians who still try to lean on charm and culture as big draws of the once unique city. Why? When you go other places, do you find yourself thinking "I could live here."
I love New Orleans and I live in Lakeview. There are almost unlimited great restaura...

Just used Safelite last week. They did have to come back out to re-calibrate my forward-facing camera for the collision avoidance system. Guy said they have issues calibrating F-150's. But overall, I'd use them again. The technicians were great to deal with. ...
re: Why do democrats want open borders?

I actually think it is that they realize that we need people picking our fruits and vegetables, cleaning our homes and hotel rooms, etc. There are millions of useless people in this country at this moment that are necessitating this influx of low wage workers.
Is this correct? That’s for you to ...
