Fat load of frickin' good an assault weapon ban would've done for Julian Wood....

My last three flag brackets all met untimely ends due to shitty weather and Old Glory was either completely destroyed or nowhere to be found in all three cases. So I'm superstitious about flying the flag lately. But just yesterday I was playing jacks with my son when he bounced the ball into a li...

Leaving out the episodes that always get high praise (Camping, Sleepytime, Baby Race, Flat Pack, etc)... BBQ was the first episode I watched where I knew the show was special. Some of the earlier episodes were really funny, but BBQ puts me in the happiest mood I've ever felt watching a TV show. S...
It's been a while since I watched HGG but I don't remember Allen being terrible. Serviceable acting for the part. Certainly not the worst acting job by an athlete. The big problem is sharing screentime with Denzel Washington, who makes 95% of other actors look like amateurs....

Gonna echo what others have suggested and recommend giving Power Query a look. It is not a substitute for a true ETL tool but it is still powerful and flexible, and integrates seamlessly into Excel and Power BI. The amount of random junk you can use as a data source alone is incredible....

Picked up Steven Wright's book Harold. Steven Wright is my favorite comedian, but he's not everyone's cup of tea. I'm about halfway through it and although I can only really recommend it to people who like Steven Wright's style of humor, to those people, I highly recommend. Weird, e...

Jean Claude Van Damme was the original choice to wear the Predator suit. He's all of 5'9 though and everyone else on set averaged like 6'3 and 250 pounds. Also he hated the suit and couldn't move for shite in it. So they got 7'3 Kevin Peter Hall to do it instead....
I only completed Algebra 2 in high school but I somehow tested out of trig, precalc, and calc 1 entering college. My degree plan required paired math and so they placed me in calc 2. Never worked so hard for a C- in all my life. I'm a business analyst by day now. Aggregates, pivots, that sorta th...

Decent movie but way too long. A good 45 minutes could've been left on the cutting room floor no problem. There are a lot of novels in the Western canon that I want to be able to say that I've read, but that I don't actually want to sit down and read. Deer Hunter is the cinematic equivalent for m...
idk watching them swallow an entire goat whole and hearing it cry while in the dragon's stomach is pretty baddass
There's a video out there of one of these things absolutely mauling a (still living) pregnant deer. At some point the newborn fawn falls out and the dragon just nonchal...
Bluey is in my top 10 shows of all time. No doubt about it. Honestly, maybe top 5.
It's legitimately the best thing on TV right now. No caveats, no strings attached--the best....
