Had my putting lesson with Craig Kanada using the SAM Lab system. He does know the putting stroke very well and I highly recommend him. Any shops in Houston custom fit LAB Putters? YouTube has some vids of an adjustable LAB putter for fittings that get your length and lie dialed in. If I am going to spend the money I would rather get custom fitted vs buying off the rack. ...

Lots of Harris Co residents are not eligible to get the reduced green fees because they are not Houston Residents. Paying $150 more or less to play Memorial is ridiculous compared to paying roughly the same amount of money for GCOH. ...

I read it as you get a preferred membership, which can be passed only once to a family member when you die. So you don’t get any ownership stake.

Practice 100 yards and in. Spend hours in the chipping green and buy an indoor putting mat. If you can cut back your putts per round you will be close to breaking 90 in no time. Practice putting for a few minutes everyday. You will start to get your ball rolling straight on the mat. Once that happen...

Wow this is going to be incredible. I looked it up it’s an hour east of Pine Dunes Resort in Frankston TX. I played Pine Dunes last week and I wasn’t really impressed. Felt like it didn’t live up to the hype. Wild Spring Dunes with two top designed courses and new accommodations will be a home run. ...

The Wilderness is one of my favorite courses in the region. Definitely worth playing. Non Houston residents basically pay an extra $80-$100 for a round at Memorial....

He doesn’t have any social media. But I’ll start researching SAM Putt Lab system to see what that’s all about. $275 for a round is out of my price range. I might see if a coworker who is a member of Augusta Pines can get us a member discount at Highland Pines for a round after my lesson.
