guitar center a week or two ago
Can’t stand guitar center and their employees. Played with the pedals for about 30 minutes and the amount of times they tried to push the boss katana on people without giving any explanation was disgusting. Or when they were trying to talk to a kid a...

A little more behind my thought and where I’m at. The tube amp head went out, so I have a 1x12 cab and a pedalboard with pedals (nothing high quality or above $120 bucks a pedal). When starting to do some research on a replacement head, I could get a tubed head close around the price of these ...

Haven’t done much research on plug ins. Correct me if I’m wrong, it’s just additional amp models you can purchase? One problem I think I would have is that I do not really have a computer. I have a Mac air that’s about 8 years old that is pretty much outdated. I’m not sure if it could handle that...

In the amp market

My Tube amp circuit board recently got fried. And it doesn’t pay for me to get it repaired. With doing some research on amps, I’m starting to look into the digital market. My wife always complained about my tube amp being too loud and with A toddler I Would only be able to play it at very low volume...

re: Amp smells?

I replaced the tubes about 4 years ago so the tubes shouldn’t be the problem (I’m guessing). It looks like what ever went out/burnt leaked some black oil like substance on a small part of the circuit board. Had the amp on the kitchen table for the past two nights trying to read up on what could b...

I see where something got burnt, but I do know have the knowledge to know what it is that got burnt or even fix it. Was my first tube amp, but might be a good time to look for something different. Only problem is trying to find somewhere with a good selection of amps to test out....

Bought my guitar cab and head on craigslist about six years ago for 400 bucks. An egnater rebel 30 with a black star cabinet. The amp is probably 15 years old if I had to guess. Would it be worth it just to buy a new amp Or get it repaired?...

Amp smells?

Got home from work, turned my tube amp on standby to warm up while I ate dinner. House randomly started to smell weird almost like chlorine. When look around my house and even the attic, didn’t see nothing. The smell was strong from my entertainment room and notice the standby light on my amp wasn’...

Probably Oppenheimer Work schedule is kind of odd where I’m stupid slow in January and February. Usually I got to the movies during the day during this time. I’ve been to 0 this year. This years release schedule was horrible. Nothing good to see during the early months....

I mean, the whole story makes sense. It’s the slow fall into madness for Snow. But being split into 3 episodes is based on the flow of the book. When reading the book everything building up to the hunger games was great, although short the games itself was good. But part 3 happens and it was so s...
I haven’t seen the movie yet, and will probably just wait till it’s on streaming. But I listened to the audio book about a year ago and wasn’t a big fan of how the story progressed (i went into the book thinking The Hunger Games Part 4). Spoilers: Once again, I haven’t seen the movie...
