re: How do y'all marry people and hate their parents?
Posted by LSUA 75 on 5/12/24 at 8:18 pm
I didn’t hate my in-laws but I didn’t particularly care for them either.
When I was dating my wife they were nice enough to me but after we had been married awhile their true colors came out.
To be honest they didn’t like any of their son in laws or dtr in laws,They had this delusion of grandeur...

Do they have yellowjackets in Alaska?
I got into bumblebees once bushhogging but they didn’t sting me,they were swarming and attacking the engine up front.
That didn’t work with yellowjackets, bastards stung me 7 or 8 times,Ithrew the tractor into neutral and jumped off running.Went back about...

I saw a woman at Walmarks last week,in early 60’s with a toddler(obviously her grandchild),goofy woman had a full sleeve tattoo on her R arm and bunch of tattoos on L arm.You could tell they were recent, the colors were vivid.
I’m like WTF,woman must have lost her mind....
re: Are boat launches some of the most comical places on earth?
Posted by LSUA 75 on 5/7/24 at 2:44 pm
In the 70’s I dated a girl whose Dad had a camp at False River at the landing,Bonaventures if I remember correctly.
Our routine was to get up early,be fishing at crack of daylight until about 8,then come in and eat breakfast.
Then we would sit in lawn chairs and watch people put their boats in and...

re: 12 Year Old Girl with BPD
Posted by LSUA 75 on 4/30/24 at 1:27 am
I never had children because I was afraid of having a child with some issue like BPD or Bi-polar or some such condition.
I didn’t get married until I was 30 and my wife already had 2.She kinda wanted to have another but I was really afraid to.
In my life experience I had come across too many peopl...
I ate what they cooked or I didn’t eat
Never do I remember my mother asking what we wanted. She cooked it and we ate it.She believed in having 2 vegetables at our main meal everyday,a green and a yellow.Whether we ate them was not an option.I hated most vegetables except tomatoes an...
My brother’s cardiologist stated there’s quite a bit of evidence against it
That’s curious to me.It was a cardiologist that first pointed it out to me many years ago.I had never paid attention to it before he said something about it.
As I said in my previous post it was very rare ...

I fed my dogs Purina Dog food for years. Then they started, putting dye in it.Only had 1 dog then, apparently allergic to red dye,he scratched incessantly.Changed him to Purina One with no dye and it costs more,
in a few days he quit scratching.
Stupid to put dye in dog food.

I spent many years taking care of patients with heart attacks, angioplasty, and by-pass surgery,Virtually everyone of them had the earlobe crease.
At same time I’ve had friends with the crease, had heart caths with no significant blockages.
One old man I was friends with had severe creases but litt...
