I don't really feel like he has a true position. He's better at 1B this year, but he's still not great. His footwork leaves a lot to be desired. That dickhead for UNC is light years better defensively.
But Jones' bat is solid. He's ready to leave in that regard....

This is one of the oldest axioms in baseball. Basically a punishment on the catcher. I'm not defending it...but if you've coached or played baseball long enough, it's basically understood....

If it's not a spasm and it's a true pull, he is most likely done for this season. MLB pitchers with lat muscle strains/pulls are usually on the shelf for 4-6 weeks....
