i noticed a couple of things that were encouraging: (1) more tempo - we didn’t allow the D to check, especially on 2nd and 3rd and short/medium (2) more playing time for freshman who are obviously better then their ‘veteran’ counterparts, ie. d. smith, bech, m. smith, kiner. they need to be start...

stats from scrimmages mean literally nothing. go look a joe’s scrimmage numbers before 2019. the only stats i care about are 3rd conversions, red zone touchdown rate, and turnovers. ...
