The 30 second recipe is mainly for dark-roast 1:2 extractions. Consider relaxing the time rule and aim for the extraction ratio that gives you the flavor you like. Then adjust from there.

LA is very hard to visit over a day or so. The residential architecture there is very rich. There is a museum called Schindler House near Hollywood that is really cool early take on modern architecture. It’s considered the first modern style house built in the US. Schindler built it himself and ...
