the noise is what gets us. every place going bare hard floors , no ceiling. open spaces with bar. can't hear without talking very loudly. my wife already hard of hearing doesn't help/...

I swear talking to their "reps" is like talking to a car salesman. "let me go talk to my supervisor and see what we can do on this rate...".
I'm looking for a way to get daughter moved. She's clueless and I'm not much better. Will probably wind up renting a small truck. and driving myself....

ours used to be $4 a load for a standard pickup. I think that was the minimum. not sure now....

I remember it because I got called in to substitute teach that day.(Jr high I think) Was 4 hrs southeast of HSV but we were getting tornado warnings/watches in nearby counties and thought "of all the days to be in a school"

flew out of there Mon morning. (not Spirit) but right next to the Spirit gate. One of their agents was screaming at people to move out da way.
We've flown Spirit a few times. never a problem...

I had cold cantaloupe soup with a bank exec in the corporate dining room once. It was great.
That said, good watermelons are much easier to come by than good cantaloupe around here....

my wife had Catalpa worm trees, as she calls them, growing up. She'd collect them and sell them as bait from her front yard. Never misses a chance to point out Catalpa worm trees wherever we may be....

maybe the thinking (or materials) has changed in the last 15-20 yrs but used to be, painting brick was an unconditional no-no. solar driven moisture in the brick will cause the paint to peel off. or something to that effect....
