So where does that line end? If your wife gave birth prematurely and your newborn cannot breathe without being hooked up to a manmade machine, is that playing god? If not, why not? Completely unnatural to have a machine breathe for you. Why should we sustain any life through medicine? If y...
So… if someone has heart disease and gets a stent or bypass, that must be against God’s will right? If someone gets cancer and goes through surgery and chemotherapy, that has got to be against gods will then ? If an old lady with a bad hip gets a new one, boom against god’s will. See...
1) There’s basically one quote from an anonymous former coach, after he’s no longer with the organization, everything else from his time that’s been reported spoke highly of his character. 2) I wouldn’t even be shocked if there was a bit of kernel of truth to it. The whole situation was completel...
IVF is creating life that otherwise wouldn’t be created thanks to “gods will”. Not sure why someone that says life is the greatest of gifts should be upset
What Catholics say is: 1) The creation of that life if IVF isn’t through the natural/unitive part of God’s plan. (For the r...
I don't follow the sport too much so I've always wondered why NHL teams seem to move/fold so frequently.
They don’t. There’s only been two this century (Thrashers/Jets and Coyotes). That’s fewer than the NBA (Grizzlies, original Hornets/Pelicans, Sonics/Thunder and the Nets if you ...
2019 Lightning tied the record for most wins in a season at the time and were swept in the first round.
CBJ were down 3-0 after the first period in game 1 too (and came back to win game 1 4-3). I’m trying to imagine what live odds you could’ve gotten of the CBJ winning the ser...
Bears o line was much better than Fields made them look
It was a terrible OL for the first couple of years of Fields’s tenure, and then still bad/below average for most of last year because they dealt with a lot of injuries and had Lucas Patrick at center. But they’ve replaced Patr...
I think Purdue-UConn would/will beat Iowa-South Carolina. I’m not sure about Purdue-Bama or UConn-NC State. I think Iowa-South Carolina would beat Bama-NC State, which it’s kind of unfathomable as of as recently as 13 months ago that that’s even remotely plausible....
In the ACC semis, UVA had an 85% free throw shooter going to the line for a one-and-one with about 5 seconds left up 58-55. Just crazy....
Nantz and Eagle are both very good and professional, but neither shines when it comes to buzzer beaters, late-game craziness, etc. Harlan’s voice was made for the chaos of March. Wish he would’ve been chosen instead of Eagle to replace Nantz on CBS’s #1 cbb team....
The dick sucking of this dude....
In 2023, he was 21st out of 41 qualifying QBs according to PFF, 23rd in QBR, 21st in AY/A (which doesn’t factor in any rushing stats at all, including scrambles), 23rd in EPA/dropback (which doesn’t factor in designed runs)… it’s not sucking his di...
He’ll do ok the first 7/8 games until NFL teams get film. Then he’ll decline as they will take away his scrambles and force him to pass which will lead to errors. His instinct is to run with any pressure. In NFL qbs always get pressure often, so thats where he’ll have to change his instinct....
10-28 as a starter. Garbage!
To be fair to Fields, he was a rookie in 2021 and was Dalton’s backup at the start of the year/wasn’t supposed to start as many games as he did on what was a rebuilding/bad team, but Dalton ended up injured for a decent chunk. The 2022 roster was h...
I thought the Chiefs’ punter did a hell of a job in the playoffs
Townsend was First Team All Pro last season. He’s a very good - great punter. But they probably think they can get similar results with Araiza (and/or perhaps their analytics team/front office doesn’t see much marg...

$250 AF spread $100 AF ML $600 profit (after factoring in initial $50 bet) if SDSU covers. $100 profit if SDSU wins by single digits. I’m guessing probably around $500-600 profit if AF wins without knowing exact ML, just based on the spread. ...
Seems more like gamesmanship by all three more than anything to me (and I don’t think Tucker is completely innocent either in this). Definitely beyond just “messing” but I also doubt any of the three would say it’s a very big deal or be extremely offended either....
Was the graphic off? Said TB still has a timeout…...
This is why I think it’ll be Norvell. First, he has a pretty low buyout, especially compared to Lanning. But more importantly, I’m not sure if the market is as available to Alabama as many might think, because the pressure/expectations of directly following Saban are going to be astronomical. Heaven...
That would be an insane way to make this important of a decision but it’s the Bears so I’m not ruling it out.
I don’t disagree, but we know how much the McCaskeys hate the Pack. For the record I’m a Bears fan (and haven’t been an OSU fan for nearly 15 years despite my username, ...
Whether fair or not, it feels a bit like he’s playing for his job Sunday. If he replicates his performance from this past week, I think he’s back and they try to get the Pats/Commanders in a bidding war and take MHJ at 2/3. If his performance is closer to the Cleveland game, I think they move on....
