We bought 2 car seat bags from Amazon. They are drawstring bags that are bright red for car seats. That helps with some of the scuffing and abuse on the checked luggage.

This seems to be the major difference between insurance companies. Everyone I know who has/had State Farm or AllState had claims initially and usually ultimately denied.
I just had a new roof put on in March (Farm Bureau) and the sales guy and project manager for the roofing company told me man...

Damn good question. My hunch based on this is you're fine. I'm no expert on safety data sheets, but the fact that it recommends cleaning the area of a spill with bleach suggests perhaps that neutralizes or breaks it down?
