re: Identify this snake.
Posted by AlxTgr on 5/16/24 at 3:49 pm
No, the first is the pic taken by the OP. The second is just a picture result from googling western rat snake. The snake encountered by OP may be a Western. See Tigerrrdad's post. ...
Bottom is a water snake
That was my first thought, and common/Northern came to mind because of the lower jaw lines. It's definitely not a diamond backed and shows up on the net as western rat which I have never seen. ...
re: What’s your current favorite methods for grilling burgers?
Posted by AlxTgr on 5/16/24 at 10:46 am
I have grilled my burgers for too many years to remember. I was on a trip recently where all we had was a skillet. The burgers turned out so good I may never grill them again. ...
re: 2024 Spring Garden Thread

Unless I drastically increase my garden space(unlikely) this is probably my last year to grow bell peppers. They do not get big enough, they do not produce enough and I would rather focus on harder to find peppers that we just use occasionally. Buying from the store just makes more sense considering...

re: What age did you older golfers move up to white tees?
Played Oakwing yesterday in Alec.
I play Oakwing and Links mostly. I actually do not like the white tees for the most part.
I am in a shoulder sling right now, so I might change my mind about that real quick....

Is there a place to watch this right now?
ESPN+. Unfortunately for me, I cancelled that after our non-conference away baseball games were done. ...
Certainly can't argue against Ellick being a crap hole of a city. High crime, stupid traffic especially for it's size (the infamous south traffic circle), old rundown mall, nothing, absolutely no business will invest in locating in Alex due to the above.
AND, no decent Italian restaurant![/q...
What was the deal with that mill? Poor management?
I really don't know. ...
Gotcha. Sounds more like a milling bottleneck than a growing/climate bottleneck, then.
Pretty sure it was even worse a while back when cane was transported in larger sizes. When the Meeker mill closed, cane pretty much disappeared in CENLA. ...

There's more to it than that. There just way better indicators than the appearance of a triangular head. Just about any water snake can do it and I've seen Garters do it. ...

Why was Saul chosen, and once he declined, why is he being treated as if he did not?
How do the headsets appear and where do they originate?
Just a comment on the concept(s)...if they can pull off a plan now, then they could surely pull that same plan...
