re: Jaguars, city of Jacksonville agree to $1.4 billion stadium deal
Posted by CrazyTigerFan on 5/15/24 at 12:02 am
The Superdome isn't only used for "a billionaire place to play a game" though, the NFL games are a small fraction of the events that are held there every year. The Superdome also has side areas outside of the central stadium area that are used for various purposes. If the state had to pay an outsi...

Rather than pouring it over like a sauce, you can always prepare it in containers on the side as a dip. Think lobsters with butter, or remoulade sauce like Obtuse1 mentioned....
re: Where to eat near MSY
Posted by CrazyTigerFan on 5/14/24 at 11:32 pm
I don't know what the other poster likes that aren't donuts, but the Tastee on Transcontinental has McKenzie's buttermilk drops, and they're better than at the locations on Clearview or Harrison. If I'm ever dropping someone off at MSY or flying into MSY and want something sweet, I'll either stop t...
And if Louisiana tax payers are on the hook, I hope they don’t.
The state and the LSED get a lot of use out of the Superdome outside of the NFL games. It's a different situation than many stadiums in other cities....

re: What are the rules for running red light on a continuing left?
Posted by CrazyTigerFan on 4/23/24 at 10:50 am
If there is the thick solid white line on the cross street you are turning onto from your original street, you're supposed to stop at that line and wait until you have a green light. It doesn't matter if you had been travelling straight or turning onto that street.
If there is no solid white lin...
re: Entergy Louisiana bills going up. Increases of $7/month on average for all customers.
Do you realize you're not charged when the power is out?
Here's a fun experiment: Shut off your power for a month and see if you have a $0 bill. Your usage is only part of what you pay. People on this forum have direct experience with this exact issue....

I'm not meaning this to sound pedantic, I'm checking my memory... "sans" means without, right? So if you're making it "sans" flambé, you don't have to worry about the flames....
Wish they had more time to hash it out, but it’s still very good.
They should have done more than 10 episodes in a season if they wanted to cover as many stories as it seems like they are doing. Nobody does the full 22/24/26 anymore, but they could have at least pushed it to 12 or 13....
re: Huge Fight at Fred's...UPDATE: Arrest made
I’m certainly not victim blaming here but I’m genuinely confused on why a married man, with kids, would be at Fred’s? Or why a bachelor party, of all places, would pick fricking Fred’s?
Both of your questions were answered within this thread. The deceased married man was at Fred's beca...
