BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU stormed back from down 18 points and made it a two-possession game with less than two minutes remaining, but North Texas held on for an 84-77 victory Tuesday night at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

LSU ends the 2023-24 season with a 17-16 record, while North Texas advances to the tournament’s second round and improves to 19-14.

Jordan Wright led LSU with 25 points on 9-of-15 shooting, including four triples, and had six rebounds, four assists and two steals.

Trae Hannibal followed with 15 points and had a game-high nine rebounds.

fricking embarrassing. Should’ve never accepted a bid. We need a coach that can get some talent through the door. It shouldn’t take three years to build a program with the portal and NIL.
