LSU backup defensive tackle Jalen Lee will be returning to the team in 2024, according to Shea Dixon.

The Watson, La. native transferred to LSU from Florida in 2022. He was a former four-star prospect at Live Oak High School before signing with the Gators in 2020. He played in 25 games with four starts during his time in Gainesville.

Lee appeared in seven games this season for the Tigers.

He has a chance to start this year, you have to think a player will come out of nowhere and be all SEC and Lee may be that guy, never know.

This is good. I can't understand the DL guys in portal that are leaving LSU who needs DLmen.

I remember thinking in one game that he seemed to be a pretty good player and didn’t see him much afterwards. That’s more than the people saying “warm body “ can say. They probably didn’t even look for him

No way this cat was getting drafted so he didnt really have any other options but that hasnt stopped other former LSU players from still leaving.

He isn't going to get drafted and he probably didn't want to spend his last year of eligibility on the bench. Now he has a chance for more snaps.
