LSU coach Kim Mulkey landed a commitment from Arkansas transfer Jersey Wolfenbarger on Monday.

Wolfenbarger, a guard/forward combo from Fort Smith, Ark., is a former five-star McDonalds All-American and was named to the SEC All-Freshman team in 2022.

She appeared in 65 total games with 26 starts over the last two years at Arkansas, averaging 5.6 points and 3.8 rebounds.

Although a phenom in high school it didn’t translate to college. 5* should transition to a starter in year two. I’m also not impressed with shot selection or accuracy. Needs to box out better for her size. But maybe Mrs, Mulkey can get her to use the left hand more and improve the latter issue I stated previously. Maayby she wasn’t coached well enough. But Arkansas has been a decent team in the past. Time will tell. Geaux Tigers. BTW I’m a Tiger fan stuck in Arkansas.

Kim will make this young lady appreciate being a tiger. She will become a better basketball player and a better person after Coach Mulkey takes her under her wing. Glad she is a tiger!!

I can see her, at 6' 5" with guard skills, dominating inside. A female Magic!!

Doesn’t play inside and not a good shooter or rebounder. Experienced a huge size increase in high school and never grew into her body. Also evidently issues between the ears

Alexis Morris also had “issues between the ears”….look how that worked out for all parties

Sa’Myah Smith will also be back next year. She developed a consistent 12’-15’ jumper coming into this season.
