Theres two options

1. Pay Aranda more to stay
2. Make Aranda the HC (or HC in waiting)

If Aranda goes, we just may have gotten O and Alleva out the door quicker than we thought

If this is true, How smart is this by A&M? It's a massive win/win, a huge f-you to LSU on all accounts because it's using contracts, and LSU's own "system" against them.

The only situation where A&M loses is if Aranda says no without a raise, and that isn't happening if reports are true and it is that much money.

You can't pay him that kind of money and you can't really blame O on this one. Aggy has lost their minds.

So maybe your head coach should be your most valuable asset in the program? Not your DC. Right?

You can blame O, because this is HIS SYSTEM. He wants "high paid coordinators" to let them coach. Well, this is what it means to have high paid/high value coordinators.

Who did he say the new defensive coordinator would be when TAMU ponies up 3 for Aranda? You see, they don’t need to pay for an OC...

He’s worth every penny and Woodward knows that.

Aranda defense with Jimbo offense is fricking terrifying. Goddamnit.

Who is A&M trying to catch - LSU or Bama?
They haven't done anything to rise above Bama.

If $3MM is the truth then let him go, getting ridiculous!

That's ridiculous. Of course 1.85 million is ridiculous for a DC.

Another factor to break the hearts of Tiger fans is that TX has no state income tax. Aranda would pay 5% in LA. Property tax is much higher in TX, but he'll have a $170,000 head start on that.

It's worth noting that if A&M nabs him, they'll have Woodward, Jimbo, and Aranda.

AKA what should be LSU's staff.

That’s absurd. Of course everything about CFB culture is now absurd . LSU for our part, is strictly a bureaucratic enterprise at this point, a destination for status quo paper shufflers .
