Around here, the empty shelves seem to mostly be a Walmart thing. I did have trouble finding ketchup once a while back. Had to go to 4 different stores before I found one that had it.

Jimmy Dean pre cooked sausage patties in the bag.
Gatorade in the small bottles was hard to find a month or two back. Haven't looked lately.
