I was personally shocked with how poor attendance has been at bowls this year. I know the China Virus has some to do with it, but some of these games were under 20% capacity.

Even the orange bowl last night was half full in the second half.

Wisconsin is known for travelling very well for bowl games and I think the LV Bowl announced something like 32K for attendance. And the other team was from AZ so travel was easy for them.

Home attendance wasn't tremendous either. Far from empty but not full either this year.

That's b/c we whipped that Michigan arse and the game was essentially over in the 2Q.

You’re in fricking Miami, FL from BFE, MI. Do you stay at the game to see your team get destroyed or do you go out and explore South Florida.

This surprises you?? We are in a pandemic with economic upheaval. Inflation is at an all time high and families are having to cut back on everything. Not to mention it is the worst possible time of year around christmas holidays. Do you really expect a family of 4 to spend $2k-3k with flights/hotel/tickets to go see a meaningless game with the shape our economy is in??
