Wish it was just his highlights

You can really see at the end how much his teammates genuinely love him and how much he loves being a tiger

Thanks. You can definitely run the ball at him, but my goodness if you’re the offense you don’t want him pinning his ears back and going after your QB

I do to. Maybe someone can boil it down. This is the 1st comprehensive video I’ve seen on him from a game.

Amazing performance by Perkins. Just think, he’s only scratched the surface of how good he can actually be.

My favorite quote
He’s like having a “cheat code” on your defense.

Was pretty much the only real highlights of the game for LSU other that Williams at Running back.

you can't run the ball at him unless you commit and offensive lineman to do so. Then watch the others swallow up the ball carrier.

Actually watch again.
At :20 he takes on the block but can’t get off it as the ball carrier runs past.
Same at around :58. The OL pushes forward on a run block and he gets tied up. RB goes right past.
He’s freaking incredible though at ensuring QB scrambles are 100% shut down.
HP is fantastic, but he excels in space or in rushing. When he has to fit to seal a run lane or engage then shed a blocker he doesn’t appear elite (yet). If you are pass blocking…good luck. He’s going to eat you alive. It just seems on designed runs he gets absorbed by the blockers.

Poor clip. Showed a lot of non highlights for Perkins

I find it useful though. Seeing all his plays is more informative than seeing only his highlights. It also explains why Kelly has been bringing him along as they have been.
Perkins isn’t Ray Lewis. He’s not Devin White (yet). But he is incredible at what he does well. This full clip of all his plays let’s you see what he does well and what he still needs to work on…and perhaps why he wasn’t on the field sometimes early in the year.

Even Mike stopped to watch this dude dominate the game
Hornsby was sacked by Perk on the next play and he was showered with this greatness

Looks like 5 sacks to me

A couple of plays where the qb tried to escape and was tackled just behind line of scrimmage were not counted as sacks, but included in TFL. Close to two strip sacks this year that were reviewed and went against us. He’s just 1 sack behind Sanders for lead league.

Was looking for exactly this. Thanks!
This dude needs a nickname, but I'm struggling to find anything worthy.
"Cheat code"
"The Closer"...
Honestly, the way he spies on the QB and his elite closing speed really resembles a tiger. Dude embodies being an LSU Tiger.
Somebody pull up an awesome video of a tiger hunting it's prey - that's #40.
