My "weed company" is a lot more than that

People would be shocked how much physical trades pay. If a young man/woman would learn a trade from highschool years till 25ish. Really hustle and do good work. They could retire at 40. NO ONE knows how to do anything anymore for themselves nor do the want to expend the energy. Having two generations of college is the only way is catching up to society.

I know a retired guy (retired at 52) that has 120 pools and charges $100 each month in DFW. Had a waiting list of anyone drops out but won’t go over 120. Always gets asked to do other things like haul crap off or go pickup and assemble furniture and charges stupid money. Hunts all winter and works all spring. Makes 2 trips a week to each pool during active months. Bills chemicals at his cost because he has most stuff shipped to their house.

Funny you say this, my robot was stuck in the catch drain when I got home and my pool was full off those pollen things. So I got the net and cleaned it.

When I had left for work it was crystal clear.

Jealousy is a terrible thing.
We people that have jacked up trucks should start our own thread to make the people on here, that are haters, really spontaneously combust.

Cleaning pools cant pay that well to afford a 80k plus truck.

I know a guy that does apartment maintenance and construction work, mows grass of churches and businesses in the spring and summer, does gravel and dirt work, and has some cleaning contracts.

He just bought a top of the line Mustang GT that he and his wife only drive on Sundays.

Can confirm.

I don't even do it for a living and have a job, but I knock out a few lawns in the neighborhood for a good bit of cash under the table. Made enough last year throughout the summer and late fall to make 2 extra house payments directly towards the principal of our mortgage.

Say this out loud the next time you go to the dealership and watch the salesmen fight to be first to you.

Jacked up trucks are ridiculous and trashy. We’re not jealous, we’re just normal.

Oh and pool boys are just as bad of drivers as plumbers and parts delivery people. You do know your vehicle can go above 25 mph?

Finding a good one is near impossible. I can't find one to even put a 3 foot section of liner back in place. I'd pay him double what he usually charges, but they won't do it.
