the HUGE SHARK
People always yell shark when they see a shark. They didn’t bc there was no shark to be seen.
This story was made up by a sad arse ghetto wannabe rapper bc he zoom in on a wave with poor resolution and called it enhanced.

Something spooked him. It may have not have been a shark that ate him but if you watch the video he was swimming against the current. After the slash in the water he swims with the current and disappears from the boat quickly. As if he was trying to run away from the shark

The kid who said "he's gone" said that because he was being attacked. He went from casually swimming to "gone" in like 3 seconds. Nobody would have said "he's gone" if he was just being gently swept away by a current - they'd have been screaming at the boat crew to turn around
A girl also yells the current at the end. Easily also could get sucked under the boat and then there is the prop. At this point it doesn’t matter the kid is gone either way. Not sure why dying on the hill of its a shark is so important.

It's the primal fear of being eaten by a large animal

No one 100% knows what happened. It’s all theories anyway. Could have been a shark made the S wave when it turned around and went after him or the current could have got him. It’s all guesses. This form is for discussion. Not everyone sees the same thing. Get off your high horse. An experienced night fisherman in those water could probably tell you if it was a shark. They said those waters are infested and sharks follow the boats at night for scraps. Doesn’t mean it was a shark but it brings in the possibility.

The lighting can really mess with your perception of what’s going on. Also the two cutaways toward the ring are at the worst times. I wanted to see more of what’s happening after the first one. Is he submerged or not. Clearly he’s not fully submerged after the second cutaway as seen through the net. . Anytime his skin is above water it’s pretty bright. Even the soles of his feet. But after the first cutaway you can barely make out a light spot that I think is his back.
This was the video at quarter speed, saturation all the way down (grayscale) and heavy contrast. Then converted to gif. It really makes the light pop. If you look close you can see more after that first cutaway. Is he submerged or is he just swimming away from the boat on top of the water?

Looking at the tide tables in Nassau Harbor there's only a couple of feet difference between high and low tide. So not an extreme current.
I’ve been in that area on a Seadoo. The tide rips through the narrow passages between the cays. But where the boat was located they were pretty far from any cays.

I covered this pages ago. He’s never submerged. Him appearing to go underwater is an illusion caused by the boat party lights changing to a dimmer red color. When the lights change back to bright white you can clearly see him above the water through the net.

Cay is pronounced like “key”. Okey just doesn’t sound right for the okay joke.

It does appear that something darted through the water near him. Not saying it was a shark for sure, but fish swimming by a brightly lit boat at night is a fact. No doubt there were sharks around. Whether one got him or not is anyone’s guess, but the fact he did not attempt to get the donut is baffling.

Wait... So Grand Cayman is actually Grand "Key"man??

Let the shark speculation rest, the kid is gone. Whether it was a shark or not doesn’t matter
