Any suggestions for a good spot for us? Edit to add we have the full Ikon pass
Looking at your requirements, id lean towards maybe Jackson Hole? The town itself is great, there's a bus that runs right to the resort, plenty of blues and blacks to try out, easy access from airport where you wouldn't need a car in town.
Also maybe sun valley in Idaho? Fly into Hailey direct and then get a 15 min shuttle to the ski area town. It's a fun spot with plenty of lodging and food in the town. I really had a nice ski trip there when I drove through in March, everyone was super friendly
Logically going through other resorts, Crystal and Snoqualmie are out due to lodging/food, Utah doesn't have those huge bases with food except maybe deer valley. Mt bachelor in oregon is isolated and you need a car, mammoth/Palisades need a car, Taos a car. Big sky is an option but I don't think there's much food if you got a place right on the mountain.

JH was on our list of possibilities. I’ve heard a lot of the blues are cat tracks traversing across the mountain instead of the nice wide open blues like snowmass has. Is that accurate or are there enough fun blues to keep a kid entertained for 4 days?
