We waited until day of games, $100-$150 per ticket. I sat down both lines and in the outfield, IMO, right field bleachers is the best spot. Most electric/alive environment. Down each line was kind of subdued.

For me it was a mad dash to get tickets. I purchased through Gametime app and it took me three tries to buy tickets and ended up paying 20 dollars more on the third try than the first. This was for the first Saturday game against Tennessee.

Championship series. We got SRo game 1. Game 2 me and my buddy sat behind the plate for just over $300 each about 25 rows up in the lower seats. Game 3 we sat behind the plate about 25 rows up a section over for $100 each. Game 3 you could still buy club seats for 135 and Sro tickets from the box office at game time.

Honestly not hard if you are willing to spend a little money. SRO isn’t the worst thing in the world either but I did like having a dedicated seat not in the sun for the last two games.

The Ticketmaster app is horrible. I had to pay more for tix on Vivid seats and stub hub because error messages popped up every time I went to purchase. And there’s no customer service # to call. AWFUL EXPERIENCE

Buy SRO at Stadium Ticket Office every am (or Pre-order)

Check seats vacant about 1st or 2nd inning

Profit

It was relatively easy as I went through Ticketmaster. It was also relatively expensive compared to other baseball games and tournaments. With their inordinate fees and expenses, it probably came to $175ticket

If so that's a very good deal. My cousin has an in with a major sponsor (she lives in Omaha) so I have never actually bought tickets.

I’m not even sure they sold new season tickets this year. I bought in last yr and expected an opportunity to buy more, but it never came. The ncaa is gobbling more and more up and selling them with travel packages for obscene prices, or listing on the secondary themselves.

My grandson was on his laptop & I was on my PC when the tickets went on sale. We were going to be there for games 1 thru 8. We knew we would see LSU twice if they made it to the show. We needed 5 tickets for each game. I started at game 1 and my gs started at game 8. We were in que when the sale started. When sales started, only outfield seats were available. You could only buy 1 game at a time. By the time I got finished with all the required entries, game 2 was sold out ( for 5 seats), then game 3 was sold out. My gs by going backwards managed to get seats for games 8, 7, 6 & 5. 4 was sold out. My tickets cost $18 with taxes & fees. His cost around $40 with taxes & fees. We managed to get tickets for game 4 after the CWS schedule was set. $1110 including taxes & fees for 3 seats - row 18 behind the plate. We did manage to sell 3 seats for game 3 that payed for the 5 seats we originally bought.

We waited in line at the ticket office Saturday and Sunday. Got there at 7am. Monday we walked up at 4pm and they were open. These were all SRO but they were $45 (max of 4). We posted up above 3rd base dugout each game.

As easy as getting tickets to anything else just a little pricey. That’s to be expected when it’s last minute.

I sat behind 3rd base dugout in 118, row 18 every game. Insane seats.

The hustlers outside wanted $350 for the first game anything down the lines.

We went the Ticketmaster route I paid :
$200 game 1
$275 game 2
$325 game 3

For reference, I paid $50 for GA for the whole champ series in ‘17, and obviously didn’t use game 3.

Worth every fricking penny!

ETA: I mean I wouldn’t turn down a refund for game 2 if Jay feels like it.

I stupidly bought all 3 games the Friday before the championship series (night after we beat wake in game 3)

All through Ticketmaster. After Fees:
Game 1: $275 LF line even with LF’er
Game 2: $250 LF line 1 section closer to home than game 1.
Game 3: $175 even with 3rd base middle of section.

We didn’t want to drive 11.5 hrs not knowing we’d have decent tickets. When I go back, I’ll purchase on Ticketmaster the day of the game.

This was my 5th trip to CWS. First four trips got tickets at cost through LSU. Had to rely on Stub Hub, Ticketmaster and Seat Geek this year. Spent about $3,000 for eight games (avg. $187/ticket). Typically sat in good seats above or just past LSU dugout. Definitely worth waiting to mid-morning to noon on day of game to buy. Locals control the ticket market and drop prices as game gets close.

I recently met a guy who was a schoolteacher in Omaha in the 90s. He said he would pay his kids to line up and buy the max tickets per customer. Then he would pray that schools like LSU or Texas with a big fan base got hot so that the rich alums would fly in and make him serious $$$ scalping his tickets. He loved Skip Bertman.

Are they really only $8 in April?

Not really sure because I did not look in April. I just know that single game tickets first went on sale in April. I first looked right after the Tigers made Omaha. There were some 8 dollar tickets listed at that point and they were listed as a STANDARD TICKET. All of the other tickets listed at that point were 45 dollars and higher and they were listed as VERIFIED RESELLER tickets. I am going to pay close attention when they go on sale next year to see what the cost of them are at that point.

tickets in 103 grandstand for almost every LSU game in Omaha.

It averaged us 175 per person using Ticketmaster and stub hub

I couldn't touch the equivalent of my season tickets at the box in 207

But in my opinion, it was well worth it.

Bought the final three games through Ticketmaster and paid around 200 a seat after fees. Seats were up the RF line in the 2-3rd last section before the OF section for all games.
