No he did not my guy. Do you even watch other games or QBs? A 59% completion percentage with 1 INT and 1 TD is not "playing well". It's average to below average in modern football.

Shedeur Sanders threw for over 400 yards and 4 TDs in his first D-1 college game ever. You know why? Because he knows he's a QB that plays with his arm instead of jumping to run every chance he gets.

The WRs are fine. JD played a horrible game, and his limited passing ability makes the WRs look way worse than they are.

Pretty easy to guard a WR when you know the QB can only throw hitches, comebacks, and outs.

ETA: I forgot. He also can’t throw over the middle of the field.

No way you’re excusing the WRs. They were terrible. Awful. Lacy killed 3 drives.

Lacy played like crap and shouldn’t be on the field. The other two WRs are just fine.

Florida St had more drops than we did and they were just fine.

JD is the problem. Same song and dance as last year. Jefferson and Chase couldn’t save JD.

Nabers is overhyped. WR #3 on Bama, Georgia, A&M and FSU.

You will blame the WRs to cover for JD.

That’s just your thing because you refuse to admit JD can’t pass

Yeah, who needs WRs that can catch the ball in big moments, or not fall down running their routes.

Nabers couldn’t even break free from single coverage all night. That’s your #1

To truly be objective, you need to look at another view of the game. I am not sure they have one that we can see but the coaches do. I bet there were receivers open all night, just like last years games where you could get a downfield view, receivers were often open. Nabors is predicted to be a first round receiver. LSU has the talent at WR. The problem is the QB. Now, Lacy may not be the best number 3 but BK seems to ride with the transfers to a fault. Almost like he is afraid to not play them because he made some sort of a promise to them if they transferred in and has too much pride to move on from his mistakes.

We don’t have that many talented WRs though. Yes neighbors is a dog and definitely and elite guy but the rest are not. TBOB went off last night about this… we have crowned this WR group for 3 years and they always disappoint. Daniels is limited for sure but they don’t help him often either.

Denbrock just isn't a good oc.

I don't care what anyone says. He never gets the other team off balance.

Daniels definitely didn't play well in the 2nd half.

Denbrock needed to commit to daniels running the ball and get him on the edge.

Stop it. They showed multiple replays and they were not getting open. They get no separation. You’re lying to yourself. I think you’re the one who needs to watch it.

Nabers may be “predicted” first round, but I assure you, that’s not happening

You're just spreading bs because you don't like daniels.

So let's go off of what we could see, the WRs killed drives with drops and caused an essential game ending INT because he fell down running his route.

The game turned on one play. A dropped pass that could’ve been a TD that was perfectly placed by JD. As I stated.. he didn’t do enough to carry the team and that was what was needed but he played well.. not great, not terrible but after that drop.. the game changed and he wasn’t good enough

He reminds me too much of Brooks for the Saints and Russell for LSU
Don’t have competitive FIRE and the emotions to lead a winner
All three make mistakes and you see them with BIG smiles on the sidelines

In fact, let's take it one step further and say JD would make them look terrible, too.
