Might as well just call four verts and try something down 14 late in the 4th.

Two yard slants and eating the clock on a drive isn’t ideal when your defense isn’t dominating

Finally someone speaking sense. If the plays taking too long cut the shite down so Daniels can get the ball out quicker

He was average, AT BEST, last season, but everyone looked over it because LSU exceeded the lowest preseason expectations in 20 years.

He said last year LSU was in “survival mode” in terms of play calling because of so much “new”. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Then he came out last night with the exact same predictable offensive approach.

It was shades of Wisconsin in 2016. A team with a ton of returning talent ranked in the top 5 because of it coming off a good, but not great season. The thought was the staff would address the flaws in the offseason and adjust the approach accordingly. Miles didn’t in 2016 and Denbrock didn’t last night. He ran the same offensive approach that struggled against Arkansas, A&M, and Georgia hoping for a different result.

I said before the opener Denbrock was my biggest concern. He proved me right last night. How Kelly hired a guy he previously fired from the same position will NEVER make sense to me.

Well if you want LSU to be successful, saying shite like that on a message board that I’m sure players and recruits read as well does not help the situation at all. I mean unless you want the best players to go elsewhere for some weird reason.

Denbrock didn’t even call the plays at Cinci after 2020, stop defending his ineptitude

It’s Denbrock and Kelly. They need to look at the creativity we had in 2019 under Joe Brady and adopt those concepts, and I mean verbatim! Daniels has the arm strength and elusiveness to handle all of it. Denbrock and Kelly need to swallow their pride and get their heads out of their asses.

Correct. Denbrock did nothing last year. Daniels has his own game.

Yeah Denbrock isnt good. But you know what, when you are trying to disguise just how bad your quarterback is because "he can run" this is what you end up with. Jayden is not a quarterback, we need to stop trying to make him one. He can not throw the ball, his arm is inept. So they run bullshite plays to try and hide how bad it is. It is time to wake up people. Replace the quarterback and watch the difference in the team.

Oh look it’s everyone’s fault but JD. We have seen this before.

I can’t wait until Nuss plays with Denbrock as the OC and the ball immediately starts going downfield and running lanes open.

Agree… I saw maybe 8 different offensive sets last night after our head coach stated they would design plays for our playmakers.. didn’t see much of that, offense was like stale bread…they could have drawn up better plays in a sand box on the sidelines than what they created on paper… Denbrock is nothing but another Les miles clone, brain dead puppet..

Well, if you’re a true friend; you would tell him you really suck at OC.

It's JD. He misses too many open wr's on RPO's.

At what point should he have realized that we couldn't run up the middle?
