Crazy how popular that show was during it's height.

They even had a show on after talking about the show.

At its peak it was an awesome show. We were hooked. I even watched Talking Dead. It was a fun talk show. However looking back, they just outlived their popularity. They should have ended when it started to decline and the main characters were dying off.

It was a must watch for me. Talking Dead was great for a few years...and I loved when they did it for Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Did they do it for Mad Men too? But Walking Dead got worse and worse and Talking Dead followed suit, becoming way too nerdy and lame.

I was into this show for probably a couple seasons but somewhere around season 4 or 5 it just became absurd and I stopped watching it all together. When you constantly have to outdo last week’s cliffhanger ending with something more grandiose the story just becomes tired. I think I was pretty much done when they killed the one guy off at the end, had an entire Talking Dead episode dedicated to his shocking demise, only to bring him back the next week because he survived by crawling under a dumpster.

They should have never fired Darabont. Imagine firing an academy award winner and replacing him with someone only known for shitty Saturday morning cartoons (Scott Gimple).
