All the money ever spent on food has literally been flushed down a toilet.

I don't eat out anymore to answer OP.

What do you think happens with the food you eat at home? To your point, if it all goes down the toilet anyway, why not just stop eating?

You've left several openings for the rest of us to exploit by this policy move.

A deep dive into our bank and credit card statements many years ago looking specifically at what we spent a month on fast food, take-out, restaurants, etc was shocking and revolutionized spending. Anyone spends a good bit eating out who hasn’t done this and does-be prepared to have the wits scared out of you to the extent you check your numbers more than once.

Respecting the original question: My parents and I usually went out every two weeks or so. Sometimes Morrison’s, other times Fitzgerald’s, sometimes a neighborhood restaurant in Metairie. The best times were when Dad and I drove out and picked up a bunch of Manuel’s hot tamales and brought them back home.
