I’ve seen people here say LB isn’t his natural position. What is? Safety?

Unfortunately he doesn't really have one for the next level IMO. I think his size and athleticism make him a strong safety, but he doesn't have that skillset really. Maybe a pure box safety like a Jamal Adams?

ETA:

I mean NFL Jamal, not LSU Jamal.

Playmaker.

He needs RB snaps, KO Return opportunities, wildcat Perk, and also outside backer

Edge rusher. Think Von Miller.

That’s like people saying Jamarr Chase could’ve played DB

Perkins is a freakishly athletic LB

Depends what he wants to weigh and how much work he wants to put into covering, but either SS or OLB.

We should be treating him similarly to how Michigan treated Jabrill Peppers. Let him return some kicks, not that that ever happens. Let him run a jet sweep from time to time. If they lined him up on offense the defense would panic just from the unknown of him being out there. ANd if you gave him the ball and he had a nice gain, then the next time hes lined up on offense the defense would likely overeact to him.

He is a playmaker! That is all! Not sure if he fast enough to play safety, but if he is, that's his position...or anywhere he wants to play....

He is a pass rusher. I don’t care where you line him up.
