I've had a kamado joe for years and now I'm starting to wonder if I need something else. The joe is in a portable table and I can move it around, it is not in a permanent structure. I have a 12'x20' covered porch. If you had one grill that does it all, what would you recommend out of gas, charcoal, pellet, etc?

Pellet, just saying that because I use mine for everything now.

Honestly I've never felt like I need anything more than my charcoal Weber kettle.

2xl Big Green Egg

I have a Primo now and I love it, if anything I just need a bigger one.

Between the egg and the black stone griddle, I have no need for anything else.

I'm planning on going with a RecTec pellet grill at some point.

All I have now is a Weber gas grill and an electric smoker.

They do fine, but I want the all in one thing I guess at a higher quality.

Went with this after reading several threads on here and am very happy with the results. Just started playing around with the different pellet types to enhance flavoring. And now that the weather is starting to get cooler, I can definitely see me using it a lot more often.

Charcoal gravity feed. This was a game changer and is my favorite outdoor cooking device ever.

The Weber Summit Kamado is a great grill and what I have, but I don’t know that would would replace a Kamado with a different Kamado.

A good offset smoker. You can get fancy with a Lang or Centex but honestly just s good heavy gauge offset with a decent smoke stack and no hot zones and that's the winner to me.

I don't care if it's brand name of Billy Joe built in the back out of an old propane tank. Ain't nothing like when that smoke rolls

We really like our small portable Ninja Woodfire grill that we bought at Costco. It's electric with a pellet smoker and convection fan built in and changeable grill top or flat top griddle. It is super easy to use and clean, and can be used as a grill, smoker, air fryer, griddle, food dehydrator, broiler and baking. It's really small but great for 2 to 4 people. It only takes 1/4th cup of wood pellets of whatever smoke flavor & brand you want to add to your food per cookout.

We cook on it often for steaks, chicken, fish, sausage, pork chops, roasts, hamburgers, briskets, wings, vegetables, fries, hush puppies, baked beans, breakfast (eggs, omelettes, pancakes, hash browns), beef jerky, desserts and more. We keep trying new recipes.

Have a large BGE, but looking at a Napolean gas grill for when the wife wants to grill when I'm not home yet, and without the hassle of lump charcoal and using the Bernzomatic lighter.

I have a Green Egg, RecTeq pellet, Weber kettle, and Weber Genesis propane. About to add a Blackstone.

I use the Weber Genesis propane more than anything, with the pellet second. I've got a bunch of kids and it's about ease/quickness for me. I can smoke real meats on pellet and doe hot dogs/hamburgers/wings/sausage on the propane so quickly.

Although this past Saturday I had all 4 rolling for a party (and had some fellow dads assisting).

You will not be disappointed with the Primo XL Oval if you like ceramic cookers.

I’ve enjoyed my Masterbuilt Gravity Series. It’s the ease of a pellet with the taste of charcoal, and the ability to sear a steak at 700
