I played for about an hour too, got through the opening scenes, and a few of the first crimes. I can't wait to play some more after work.

Game has been a great follow up to the original. I have enjoyed the opening few hours. Playing when I get off work and can’t wait!

Played the opening sequence before having to go get the kids from school.

While I think the opening to the first was better, I thought it was awesome overall. The scale was massive and the little teaser after was a perfect introduction.

I really enjoyed the opening on this one. Love how they just throw you right into the action with a classic foe.

I love how "alive" the city feels. Pedestrians randomly taking selfies, dudes in the park starting a pick up basketball game, etc.

I’m about 4 hours in. The web wings and wind tunnels are clutch when traveling long distances, such a good alternative to just swinging everywhere.

The story is solid so far.

Such a fun game. I’m having a blast just running around doing all the side content.

Yeah I can honestly say I actually enjoy most, if not all, of the side content this time. Half of the side content in the first game felt like a chore while the rest was cool but not engaging. Still love that game but it’s such a drastic difference where I played for 4 hours today and 2.5 hours was just switching between Miles and Peter and just swinging, flying and doing side shite or fighting random crimes (which are better but could still be improved on.)

In fact, the random crimes are probably the things they need to work on the most next game. The combat and traversal and graphics are where they need to be. They’re perfect. They really just need to have some intense, variable random crime situations and other random activities.

Obviously not everything will be unique but I think it would add a lot to the experience and replay value. Seems like a lot of work BUT what else are they really going to do to make it different? Why not try and make it REALLY feel how it would be to be Spider-Man. I imagine there’s a TON of down time where most of what you do is just random acts of service and fighting unique variations of different petty crimes, NOT fighting Scorpion and Sandman and Goblin over and over again. One minute you’re helping a grandma catch their cat around Queens, the next you’re saving people from a burning building then the next moment you could be helping a pizza guy deliver pizzas within a time limit or something.

Video game dunkey?

I agree that the random crime things got stale in the first game quickly. I'm holding out to see if there will be a black Friday sale!

This game is so much like Web of Shadows. Probably why I love it.
In all seriousness though, I’m very impressed. I think this is the best adaption of Peter Parker I’ve seen. The black suit is fire

Yeah man I was loving the game BEFORE the symbiote. But the gameplay once you get it is just…everything

Best part about this game is that my kids are so invested in the story and watching me play that they have yet realized the new Mario game is out.

Terrible, they’re great games.

1 was awesome. fresh and it worked. Pretty sure the older Spiderman games were all shite, at least the ones i tried. It was the first game i platinumed on PlayStation.

Mile Morales was just sort, I wouldn't even call it a full game. It didn't grab my attention like the first one.

A lot of shade thrown right there. Some of the best:
- Spider Man 2: The Movie
- Shattered Dimensions
- Maximum Carnage
- Ultimate Spider Man
