I'm listening to it to see what he said and he very clearly is talking about his buddy's son Denver.

There is a reason BK is getting millions a year and Jordy is hosting a YouTube show to less than 5k viewers a day.

Ironically all of the people like this enabling a kid such as Denver Harris are the reason he won't be as successful in life as he could be.

ETA: He's also talking about the need to be successful fast -
2020: 5-5
2021: 6-7
38 scholarship players
2022: 10-4 SECW Champs with win over Bama

Lsu is recruiting every LA player on the board.

Jordy stumps for a lot of kids
And their families. He likes to point fingers at what he thinks are the problems. In reality, our defensive coaches are bad at their jobs. We need recruiters on defense. We need an actual DL coach. We got a lot of staff making a lot of money with zero results. Cooks, Steeples, House, Diaco, and Janeck, I all expect to be gone. Lindsey might hang on but he’s going to need some skins on the wall FAST.

LSU lacks an alpha on defense. That was Brooks. They lost him. There is no Devin white, Kendall beckwith, or Tyrann Mathieu right now.

We have transfers like Speights playing big roles and they aren’t good. We just haven’t reloaded the talent on defense from where O left it. Some of that is CBK’s fault. Some is not.

So, we bitch about Aggie thugs and Bama’s Turner but want those guys too?

Make up your mind….how about great football players that are also good guys?

even if you felt House would be better with better players, he isn’t recruiting well enough to stick around,

The Defensive recruiting is miles behind thenoffense.

Additionally said that if Kelly is going after Notre Dame type recruits that’s not going to work down here.

Kelly has already proven he is willing to after players of questionable backgrounds. He isn’t just going after choir boys, but he has also made it clear that he isn’t going allow them to be idiots once they put on the LSU jersey. In the long run, LSU will be better for that cultivating that type of environment.

I can post the interview where Saban says almost exactly that, wearing purple and gold as well as crismon and white.

I can also post one where Saban says that winning isn't the most important thing to him, the development of young men is, and if you do it right, winning is a byproduct of that.
You know, the same shite we hear BK say.

Cullotta talks in circles. You're talking about a group of frat boys who's only solution to the Tigers football woes is to "go get players with that DAWG in em'" "see ball get ball" and whatever other cliche they here somewhere else.

JC himself said just a few weeks ago that he thought Nuss might be the better option since we were going to have to out score teams. Now he rides JD's nuts like a saddle. Dude is terrible!

Your first mistake is listening to Jordy. He always has something to complain about making it seem like the sky is falling. He said heading into Arkansas that Kelly needed to start Nuss instead of Daniels because he didn't feel Daniels could consistently make throws to beat defenses.

Then after Daniels kept us in every game changed his tune and said Daniels needs to be getting Heisman recognition and that Kelly needs to campaign like he has done all year for Daniels.

He flip flops while trying to claim he "knows people inside the program" he is one of the worst talking heads for LSU.

Yeah, I get that. My point is it's about a certain attitude. A certain LSU thing. We are clearly missing that for 4 years now. We play soft on the defensive side of the ball. We are reactive instead of being aggressive. Not an argument to not recruit Texas and Florida. We all know the deal. Get your core from Louisiana and get hard to find positions and top prospects from out of state. FTR, I don't even consider Texas to really be out of our footprint going back to the 70's.

I don't disagree that Jordys an idiot, but I hate this narrative.

Would you say the same thing about Jimbo? Just because somebody is paid an absurd amount of money to do something doesn't actually mean they're great at it - they've just convinced someone else that they're great at it.

Jordy stumps for a lot of kids

==========================================================

While I agree with you on majority of your points, the reloading of talent that o left is laughable, There were 22 scholarship players on defense that were inherited by Kelly.

On DT you had Smith, Roy, Guillory and Langston.
At Edge: Ojulari, Gaye, Savion Jones, Desmond Little and X. Carter.
At LB: Mike Jones, Baskerville, Penn and Small.
At CB: McGhee, Raydar Jones, and McGlothern
As S: Harris, Ward, Davis, Burns, Langlois and Ryan.

There were a few pieces to build a defense around: Roy, Smith. Ojulari, Gaye, Baskerville, Ward and Burns.

Some rotational pieces: Guillory, S. Jones, M. Jones, Penn and Ryan.

McGlothern who couldn't get his head out of his arse and was jettisoned.

And the rest was just cannon-fodder.

That is not an over-abundance of talent being inherited, just a few nice pieces from having a barren cupboard and absolutely little to no serviceable depth or developing players.

He recruited and signed Perkins.
Perkins is not a Notre Dame recruit.
