When Elon hired Linda Yaccarino everyone thought that Twitter was going to make a turn for the worse, i.e., mainstream. But Twitter has done the opposite.
It's like something has happened where Twitter is not losing as much money as people looking from the outside have estimated.

Yeah, they put it behind a paywall so all the features you got with the app for free before, you now have to pay for it. Meanwhile, for those that don't pay, you can still tweet and shite, but the app itself is severely limited.
And that's totally fine, I have no problem with owners putting a price on services, that's their right and it appears to have been the right move because a shite ton of people (most of them simps) are paying for twitter. But it's not like they were exactly innovative in what they did.
