I like comfort food in the winter/cold weather months

roasts
chili -with beans
shrimp and corn soup
most any soup really- with sourdough bread

Vegetable beef soup is in my winter rotation. I love winter foods.

I typically like wild soups during cold weather. Not your typically broc and cheese or basic gumbo.

Roasted Red Pepper Soup,
Spinach and Artichoke Soup,
Tomato Basil (I know this can be kinda basic),
Chowder.

Big fan of chowder. NE clam, corn chowder and potato chowder are favs. Also love a good lentil soup w middle eastern flavor.

allog these are in the rotationbut chicken and dumplings is my go to comfort food and pho when feeling under the weather
