This was in response to a tweet about the Dennis Allen stuff. Watson was loved in every locker room so I think he’s qualified to make this comment.

quote:

If your players or assistant coaches don’t run the plays you call, you’ve already lost your team. If you’re comfortable enough to tell the world about it, there’s no turning back.

I’d go so far as to say if you’re dumb enough to admit in the presser that you can’t control your players, it’s time for you to go. You take the hit publicly and deal with it privately. You never air the organization’s dirty laundry in public.

That being said, the organization also needs to deal w/ Winston. You can’t have mutinous players, regardless of whether the coach is a cuck or not.

We all know that. You can tell in the body language and interviews of the players. Remember, this is the idiot that put Winston in to take a knee and then blamed the fans. Fick that guy.

They never did respect him, and never will ... it showed all year long. He may be a good DC, but he's not an NFL HC. He needs to be fired.

Same thing happened to McCarthy in Green Bay, but he had won a Super Bowl and it was Aaron Rodgers doing the punking, not Jameis Winston on a non- playoff team.

Jameis may not have developed here but man if his frick you to Dennis somehow expedites the end of this tenure, he deserves Saints HOF consideration.

But this organization has its head up it’s arse so they’ll ignore what happened yesterday and the message it sent to the league

Ben Watson may be my favorite all-time Saint, as much for the person he is off the field as he was on. If a guy like Watson sees this as an indicator that DA is pretty much done as a viable coach, then the organization should take notice. Watson is not your typical talking head just looking for clicks or notice, not a hot-take guy. He is as much a person of integrity as there is in that business.

Watson's better equipped to answer that more than any of us who have never played in the NFL, but I disagree with him. This is the last 1:10 of the season barring a baby miracle for us to get into the playoffs, and Winston will likely not be here next year anyways. I'm not a big Allen supporter in general, but one could argue the players fought for him a lot during the season.

I hated how he threw Olave under the bus after that Jaguars game for not running his route 100% when Carr missed the open read underneath and threw the ball well out of bounds, but this is not throwing Jamies under the bus. He should have not said it publicly, yet at least, but it's also not throwing Jamies under the bus. I believe any coach not in the heat of the moment would realize that no HC or OC would call a cheap trick play like that.

Also for those calling for McCcoy or any others to blame, they very well could have agreed in the huddle and Ruiz said as much, but even if they disagreed if they know that's what Winston & Williams are doing then they have to block for it or else their teammate could get hurt

Here we go. Slot left, 35 dive.

f*cking Allen! sh*t's f*cked up.

We'll change that to 25 dot.

Don't be stupid. What? No way, man.

Does somebody have a problem with Jamal putting one in the end zone?

No, sir. I didn't think so.

Slot left, 25 dive, on one. Slot left, 25 dive, on one. Ready?

Break! Break!

Let's take it in. Go!

Yeah!

Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

Yeah, baby! Yeah!

Yeah! Yeah!

Thanks, Jameo. Thanks, baby. Yeah! Let's go.

Yeah, keep it up, assh*le

I’m convinced that if Allen was fired that nearly the whole team would tweet out how happy they were at the news. We are so fricked with this guy at the helm.

Shannon Sharpe and Stephen A think Allen should be fired and Jameis should be cut.

Winston isn't dumb. He knows exactly what he was doing when he made that decision on the field. I think the team as a whole is trying to get the front office to fire Dennis Allen. Showing that he has no control of the team is once sure way to get that done.

I think Winston deserves praise for his actions because with out them, I believe Dennis Allen will definitely be coaching this team again in 2024. Winston is forcing the front office to act even if it means sacrificing his job.

Everybody knows when are winning shite with Dennis Allen and the current staff.

This is 100% the correct take.

He proved he lost the team.

They asked him if they could do it. He said no. Specifically do not do it. And then they went and did it anyway.

He’s a cuck. Apologizing in the media, he’s made this so much worse.

I love Jameis too, the guy has an IQ below room temperature. He’s apologizing in the lockeroom media session but realistically making it way worse. “I apologize to DA, but this was a TEAM DECISION” implying that DA isn’t a part of the team . He’s speaking like DA is the subordinate. “DA didn’t condone that at all, however we decided as a team to do it.” “We had the opportunity and we decided”. “My intention was to lead the team... and we made a collective decision and ima feel good about that” “it’s not about regrets... it’s about us as a team making a collective decision, but I do apologize to Dennis..because that was not his call” he doesn’t even call him coach, he calls him Dennis.

These are actual quotes

I’m a fan of the TD, frick the falcons, and I hate Dennis Allen.

But this completely cuts the coach down at the knees. He can’t come back.

There’s no respect
