Getting a little thin on depth with just Jackson, Holly and Durham coming in. Very talented group. Williams stays that would be a great boost. Great RB's if not but thin on over all experience. If Williams leaves, should we get an experienced RB out of the portal? Just for depth and experience.

I’m definitely of the opinion that we should be hunting the portal for Jackson to have a partner in crime. Love Williams, great vet and he could be a situational guy but don’t want him as our #2RB season long

I think Williams has already announced he is coming back. Also there has been no word from Emery about his status.

Holly is a beast too. They should get lots of carries anyway. Should have got bulk of bowl game carries.

I may be in the minority but I do not see any reason to be adding running backs. It seems as though Josh Williams is coming back and that can be your veteran presence in that room. Let those three young guys get some run. Kaleb Jackson showed a lot or promise, Trey Holly flashed in the very limited action he had, and Caden Durham is a highly recruited running back that dominated at the 6A level in Texas.

If Williams leaves there will be a problem with pass protection. They need someone who understands protection, which is what Williams did.

I would have ideally liked to have seen Diggs and Jackson split carries as RB1 with Holly being the sole RB3 and primary backup for both and Williams taking the Noah Cain role if he came back. With the expectation of needing to back to pick up the yards JD produced the past two years you're cutting it pretty close assuming all these guys left are healthy.

Jackson and Holly are ready to play large roles and Durham will be able to contribute his 1st year as well to go with the reliable Josh Williams. We are just fine. Most teams would kill for that RB room.

Jackson needs to be the workhorse next year. Dude is extremely talented. He should see the majority of the snaps. I do like Williams coming back to provide some solid depth to rotate in with the younger guys.

I wouldn't be surprised to see one RB from the portal post-spring. There will be plenty of kids who don't make the top two, or who are grad transfers, that will want to make a move in the spring.

The young man from Dunkenville will be making some noise. He is elite.
