Ryan Nielson...He was DC for the Falcons last year. Anyone know anything about him?

Looks good on paper.

eta: I posted this about a week ago that it sounded like he might be going to Texas, but it looks like it was bad info

Great coach. Doubt he goes to Texas as a DL coach.

Great hire if true. Very good DLine coach. Not sure how well he would recruit.

Would surprise me if he took a college DL job. Seems like he could hang around the league as a DC. The Falcons defense was decent.

Great hire if it comes to fruition. I was hoping we would target him after it seemed like y’all were gonna keep Bo.

Would seem like an odd move for him to go back to being a position coach in college but regardless that’s a great hire

I’m seeing nothing anywhere that validates this rumor.

Absolute homerun hire, if true. Makes no sense at all to drop from NFL DC to college DL position coach, so I have my doubts if it’s really true.

Saints Talk post detailing his accomplishments

He was the only one from the Falcons' staff I hoped they'd hold onto.

Yea anyone who believed this is a fool lol

LSU took Bo Davis from you. Despite the arrogance of Texas fans you’re not just gonna go get Ryan Nielson lmao
