If you are a National Seed, you have a 6.3% chance of winning the NC.
8 National Seeds each Year x 24 Years
192 Chances and 12 won = 192/12 = 6.3%
If you are a Regional Host but not a National Seed, you have a 3.1% c...

The #1 ranking doesn't matter in any of these polls..
What you don't want is the #1 seed in the tournament.. and right now that is looking like Texas A&M, Arkansas, Tennessee or Clemson.
Ironic because you want to do well in the next 3 weeks..
but you don't want to do too well.. ...

I think it's a pretty good Top 25 imo.. I think some teams are just going to be hard to read with the Transfer Portal the way that it is..
Oklahoma & Texas A&M for example.. both have over 40 new players from high school and via the portal.. Lots of talent infused, but there is no way to know how...
5 of the 7 have been Oklahoma
that's fair.. they have been that dominant..
they clearly aren't as good this year, but I imagine they will be hard to beat..
Texas won 2 of 3 in Austin
Pokes won 2 of 3 in Stillwater
The WCWS is a neutral site but really more like a home game fo...

Tennessee is not one of those 7 teams.
Therefore, Tennessee is still in the bottom half of the SEC.
Texas has finished the season in top 4 at CWS 28 times
This might be the most ridiculous Texas stat out there..
75 College World Series
28 Top 4 finishes by Texas (37% of all CWS)

38 Total Appearances by Texas
yes...same number of titles, but UT has 38 CWS Appearances. Basically thats 6 national titles with 38 elite 8's. That is more impressive that 6 national titles and 21 elite 8's. #1 on that list shouldnt be up for debate
Just throwing up a quick formula that rewards 1 point for each NCAA Tournament appearance, 3 points for each College World Series appearance, and 10 points for each national title, it looks like this:
1. LSU- 162
2. S Carolina- 87
2. Florida- 87
4. Miss St- 85
5. Arkansas- 67
6. Tex...
